Manx Motor Cycle Club Dinner: 29th January 2010

Winners of the main 2009 Manx Grand Prix races were reunited with the trophies they won back in September at the Manx Motor Cycle Club dinner held on January 29th, 2010.

Ultra Lightweight winner Carolynn Sells was presented with an engraved silver tray by Chief Minister Tony Brown. The award was made on behalf of the Manx Government in recognition of her history making ride. Similar presentations were made to John Kermeen, who recently retired after 25 years as Chairman of the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club and former clerk of the course Neil Hanson whose involvement with the event stretches back 49 years.

Michael Russell with the magnificent Senior MGP trophy.

2010 will see Stephen and Michael moving to the TT races, Dan Sayle back to the Lightweight MGP looking for his third successive victory and James Toseland back to World Superbikes from Moto GP.
